National Night Out is a nationwide awareness campaign to heighten awareness among the general public to crime prevention techniques. Saddle Brook has been involved in a National Night celebration since 1991.

The 2007 version of Saddle Brook's Night Out featured a variety of exhibits and demonstrations. The event is set up annually in an effort to give knowledge and bring about awareness of crime prevention and community policing within the Township. It gets bigger and better every year.  

Saddle Brook's National Night Out  brought together a wide variety of public safety agencies, organizations, and people.  This year's event was covered by Cablevision's Neighborhood Journal Show.  The story will be seen on Cablevision channel 78 in September.
